This is similar to an article recently posted on AmRen (Dec 7 or so) about the Surgeon General basically demanding there be more black physicians. Cornell surely knows that somehow dragging in semi-qualified blacks and sticking them on the faculty can only hurt the school so I … In my case, when someone comments on the pros of “diversity” in medicine, I usually respond by saying, “OK - the next time you need surgery you can go to Affirmative Action General Hospital.
