(7) Comment Hello friends, firstly accept my apologies for being absent on the blog without prior intimation. I had to leave for Bangalore on a short notice and i wasn’t finding time to update you guys, was just checking out mails and commenting here through my mobile. It was really very tiring week and i plan to sleep and relax this whole weekend since it started raining heavily in Hyderabad, its been a disastrous weekend claiming more than 40 lives within 24 hours, my sincere prayers for those who have been affected by this.
Coming to the biggest and most surprising news of the week or probably my life, i just won a Asus EEE PC at Nabil’s blogging contest sponsored by Market Leverage. Yeah, its the same Market Leverage i have been aiming to work with. They had sponsored a contest at Nabil aka Enkay’s blog and received very good response. Nabil is an interesting guy coming out with very informative posts, especially for the newbies who dream about getting rich quick.

Hard Time with Indiatimes and SignDomains!

(4) Comment You might be wondering what the heck happened to DentoCafe.com!
This is the 4th day the forum is down and i am very disappointed.
All the credit goes to Indiatimes.com and Signdomains.com.
About an year back i had registered two of my domains at Indiatimes.com website and its been going fine till now until i had to change the nameservers last week. Sigdomains has a reseller account with Indiatimes and when i registered i received the control panel from Signdomains.com/Indiatimes/
I have been struggling to see my site up, my host was also very anxious to know as to why it’s taking such a long time for changing the nameservers. I had shot them numerous mails with no response at all, finally i gave them a call today and was told that the issue would be taken care of.

Google Adsense Referrals Retiring This August

Google recently acquired the DoubleClick Performics Affiliate operations in March 2008 and hence terminating the Adsense Referrals program this August last week.
They have officially announced this and advised all the users to remove the referral code from their websites or alternatively sign up with their partner, DoubleClick.
However the rules are slightly changed, previously we were allowed 3 content ad units plus referral ad units on a single page, but now you can have only 3 ad units in total.
AdSense for content ads: If you have less than three AdSense
for content ad units on a page, you may wish to replace the
referral ad units with standard AFC ad units.
If you currently use referral ads, either to promote Google products or offerings from AdWords advertisers, AdSense Referrals code will no longer display ads beginning the last week of August.
We encourage you to take the following steps before the product is retired:

(5) Comment The secret messages in Google’s 2008 logo revealed. Google put silently two hidden messages in its 2008 logo. Google is celebrating 25 years of TCP/IP and the New Year.
Following are the two messages, with its meaning.
- In this message Google is showing a cable making 2008.
- The second message shows “SYN SYN/ACK ACK” on the bottom of the logo in little colored dots (see carefully).
What is syn syn ack ack?
The syn syn ack ack is referred as a “Three Way Handshake.”
To establish a connection, TCP uses a three-way handshake. Before a client attempts to connect with a server, the server must first bind to a port to open it up for connections: this is called a passive open. (7) Comment Its quite amazing to see DentalBlogging on the verge of 100 blog posts, oopsy thats a lot at least for a lazy guy like me to write 100 posts and yeah that includes 11 paid reviews 
Just yesterday i was going through Syed’s 100 blog posts article and realized that even i should be celebrating this. I am quite happy with the performance of the blog; all credits to the readers. Since this is a big achievement for me, being my first blogging attempt i would like to give out few prizes in the form of a CONTEST. (4) Comment Let me suggest you few money making tips i learnt in the past few days as a blogger. I pass on few credits to my brother and fellow blogger from Germany, Alem.
Money doesn’t flow easily as far as blogging is concerned, you need to work hard, work consistently and have some patience.
Let me warn you, once you get your blog rolling you aren’t looking behind. So, have your stay around and keep blogging.
1. Get Sponsors for your Blog
Once your blog starts getting traffic, try and contact private companies that are operating in your niche area and get them to sponsor your blog. Even if its for a small amount, it adds up to your blog earnings. Gradually, when your blog ranks higher on the search engines, there are chances of getting better and high-paying sponsors. Try and provide all the details about your blog like traffic stats, search engine rankings, specialization area, unique visitors and keyword popularity. Also mention how your blog will help them in promoting their brand products. Do not get disheartened if you fail to get sponsors for the first time. Keep trying and make targets for yourself.

BarCamp Hyderabad - Ready to Rock!

(4) Comment Well, finally the day has arrived for Hyderabad and the pearl city is all set to rock at the 5th BarCamp. Its 3.01 AM and i am still struggling to pack up my online engagements, gottu reach Google campus at 10 AM sharp. The registrations were closed this noon so there’s no chance hogging around their website, meanwhile you can still contact me for tickets in Black that too balcony!
Let me give you a brief update i am sensing about tomorrow:
Google, oh yeah Google is hosting this event at their new campus.
Hysea announcing their product awards and IIIT faculty are providing their valuable support, thats a whole lot man!
Progress has come up with some goodies, lets see whats in store.
Many companies and ISB (past BarCamp sponsor) are expected to join in for the debut BarCamp @ Hyderabad.
