A few weeks earlier, after having one of my sites banned from Adsense, I decided to test a number of alternate advertising programs. AdBrite was the first program that I put my hands on. AdBrite sign up is quick and painless.

I ran AdBrite ads for about a week, and my click through rate was close to ten times lower than my AdSense click through rate for the exact same space. Revenue per click was half of what I was earning with AdSense.

Despite my lack of success with AdBrite, I think that it could work very well for some larger sites. If advertisers are frequently asking for space on your site, AdBrite could be a hassle free way to manage your inventory.

If your site has a good potential traffic of a particular niche, try using WidgetBucks.

After exploring the program for almost 7 days, things might not be as rosy as it seems. Widgetbucks has few good reasons to stay on.

- Cost per clicks is high compared to other advertising network (for some popular categories)

- Free $25 sign up bonus

- Easy to set up ads from the template design to inserting the HTML codes

- Visual appeal of advertisements. Visitors are more likely to click on the ads.

- Also a good alternative if you get banned on Adsense.

However they are few drawbacks as expected, the statistics are not real time and the referral commission is only valid for 12 months after the new member of yours join.
