I am very happy with the performance of the blog contest this time, thanks to all the participants who took part making it very exciting. Lets take a look at the stats:
There has been steep increase in the subscribers and comments. For the first time DentalBlogging received more than 390 comments and 109 subscribers after the contest was launched, that’s just in a matter of 15 days. I must say its just awesome getting such a good response for a blog which is not related to webmasters.

As you all know, the contests season is on the peak and i don’t wanna miss this opportunity starting one at my place. This time i am looking to host a grand contest on my recently revived Forum in July but there’s a problem i need to work out in co-operation with you guys.
I have come up with two things in mind; contest about getting referrals and other one is MOTM [Member of the Month], i would like to know your opinions on this. Which one would fare good and have an impact on the forum, or you could also shell out your own suggestions.
Secondly, the most important thing about the contest is prizes! What all stuff can be given as prizes- cash, RS accounts, Domains, etc.

Market Leverage Ruling the Roost!

(8) Comment The blogging bells are ringing loud and often, thanks to Market Leverage which has come out with some outstanding marketing strategies. Every other blog i visit has a contest sponsored by ML and the blogging arena is just going Ga-Ga, contests look more attractive and appealing now!
It all started when i received a newsletter from Balkhis. Syed was conducting a contest as usual on his blog but this time it had some charm, the prizes ML sponsored were just too good to be true, at least for me Upon browsing through other blogs, i noticed that its not just Syed’s blog they sponsored, they are many other lucky one’s such as Market Leverage Bag of Stuff, Cash Tactics Contest Time, Chad at CDFNetworks. The hype these types of contests receive is just commendable; taking for example Balkhis stats, they were more than 900 comments and 6800 page views per day and leave alone the subscriber base. I wish to offer you all an exciting contest like this at Dental Blogging too!

(5) Comment Hay peeps, how you have been doing all these days? Well things weren’t so g00d at my place; scorching heat, bad health (thanks to my late night webbing) and also i was busy updating my vBulletin Dental forum, Dentocafe’s gonna wear a brand new attire too very soon!
Chetan might be waiting endlessly for his coded wordpress theme which he had won during the contest held here last month. I was pretty lazy in sending him the pack, the other 2 guys who also won the coding can still send me the PSD.

(10) Comment I was very disappointed when my sites were hacked last night, just a month back my host and i were successful in stopping the breach my a Turkish hacker and this time it was a Chinese guy intruding in.
I have few important job to update my sites before i announce the winners of the DentalBlogging contest. I know you all must be eagerly waiting for the contest to conclude but its just a matter of few more hours and it will be a bang bang boom!
PS: I have seen few participants not validating the email feed, so please make sure you do it before the deadline to be eligible for the contest winnings, most importantly Chetan as you are the top commentator and eligible for a great prizes.
